Challenge
Verrocci's product quality was premium but the brand didn't justify a premium price — the presentation read as ordinary next to imported chocolate brands. Most of the year's sales happen as gifts, and a gift is judged closed: the box does the persuading long before anyone tastes what is inside. Set against European houses on the same shelf, the packaging asked the buyer to take the quality on trust.
Solution
We designed a restrained, editorial identity with rich color and foil-ready packaging, then photographed the product like jewelry — macro textures, deep shadows, gift-first compositions. Restraint was the point: one typeface, generous space, and a single foil accent that catches light when the box is turned, rather than a surface crowded with ornament. The structure was drawn so the box opens in a deliberate sequence instead of tearing. Photography followed the same logic, lit hard and close so the shell's break and the temper's shine carry the quality argument on their own.
Result
A gift-worthy brand that supports premium pricing and holds its own beside international names.
